No GTA 6 November: Here's what you can play on PC instead

World of Warcraft: Forever, Warhammer Survivors, and a batch of fresh updates.

I can't ignore the elephant in the room: Grand Theft Auto 6 is out this month, but we still don't know when we'll see Rockstar's return trip to Vice City launch on PC. When we asked in a poll whether y'all planned to wait for the PC release, play it on console at launch, or double dip and do both, a whopping 71% said you would wait. Modding is half the fun for me, so I get it. I'm with you.

But even PC releases are dodging the big GTA 6-shaped gap in November, so what new games are even out there for you to play? Well, World of Warcraft: Forever kicks off the beginning of the month if you need a new MMO to get sucked into. Then Warhammer Survivors is just a few days later, and there's a whole slew of updates to pick through. It may be a light month, but it's not empty.

I'm eyeing a few November releases myself, though I wouldn't mind taking the time to catch up on the 2026 games I missed. As for recommendations, I'll let my colleagues take it from here.

World of Warcraft: Forever

World of Warcraft is 22 years old, which is bananas, and somehow I've gone all that time without touching it once. I've reported on it extensively (although not so much these days), but actually played it? Nope. With World of Warcraft: Forever coming on November 4, I'm thinking that maybe it's time to change that — to jump in and sample the greatest MMO as it was back then, but also new and improved. I'm not a GTA guy and there's not a whole hell of a lot else happening this month, so now's the time, right? Maybe. We'll see. — Andy Chalk

When this turn-based dung eon crawler first came out in 2001, it had so many technical problems our review compared it to Daikatana. Dreadmoor

Murky water scares me to death, but I also love the rush of giddy terror, so that's why the haunted fishing excursion awaiting in Dreadmoor has my full attention. I talk a big game, but I know I'm smashing ALT+F4 the second something lunges at me from the water. Until then, I'm looking forward to its early access debut. — Andrea Shearon

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Iceland

I once went on a Jeep tour of Iceland. I was really hungover, but enjoyed seeing the island anyway, which says a lot, because it was a bumpy ride for someone who had recently stumbled out of a Big Lebowski-themed bar. What I'm saying is that this Euro Truck Sim 2 DLC seems like a pleasant way to get away from it all. 2 — Tyler Wilde
